Why is it that gay men are beautiful and very feminine and lesbians are very manly or at least one of them is? If the girl looks like a guy and they probably use a strap on during sex why not just be with a man?

Funny how defensive ppl get. OK all gay men are not beautiful and feminine. I apologize for that......straight men are even in touch with their feminine side. I am very educated on the gay and lesbian community... stereotypical, not homophobic by no means...call me what you want...I have in 20 years of being around and living in a community where gay/lesbian is more open than most other cities is very much accepted. I'm asking why is it that you will 9 times out of 10 find that the genders in which men and women portray are opposite of what they really are. And why is it that woman like women and men like men and they act on a sexual level of that which is usually intended to be shared between a man and a woman? Example...women using dildos and such that is a penetration device...why not be with a man??? I am just as curoius as the next person...not trying to badmouth the population of same sex prefernces.

I totally understand your question because I have also been wondering how sexual attraction works. We have so little say in it! It seems to me somehow that we are looking for a way to find out whether we are adequate as a man or women or whatever we identify with. We think we're doing good if the peculiar type of being that we are/want to be is desired intensely by a kind of creature who is very similar (trustworthy) but wanting in some emotional or physical aspect, something that sparks our curiosity but also seems to offer the ability to give in a tremendous, exclusive way to be 'everything' for the other being.
Homosexuality seems to be just one way of playing this out. For other people it's perhaps somebody who is older, dominant, looking a particular way or of a certain character or role that they are searching that identity-confirmation from.
Generalization is a risky art-form but notice that even in highly role playing homosexual relationships, e.g. in a classic femme/butch relationship, it's typically still very much a female/female relationship as far as the emotional tone is concerned. A man could not offer what the butch is offering to the femme. The type of intimacy is female, even if some kind of stimulation is or role play is male/female look alike.
Similarly, one could say why don't heterosexual men screw other men, it's a similar sensation to heterosexual intercourse, for many much more easy to come by and free of typical complexities of that procedure in hetero-world. Yet it doesn't mean anything to a real hetero-man, he will cringe at the very idea. Why?! The particular emotional need of the partner is missing, or rather it is totally different. But why or how this comes to be I have no clear idea yet. Let me know if you have any...

Wake up Little Suzie, where have you been all this while? Whoever told you that all gay men are feminine or beautiful and most lesbians are masculine? And if two women love each other that way, why does it bother you so much? I will tell you what, to answer this question for yourself, try making friends with more LGBT people first and then try to understand why we are the way we are.

Oh, man, I love it when someone says something nasty and then follows it with 'God bless you.'
I guess they think they can say the nastiest thing they want, because the 'God bless you' will make everything better. That's fundie Xtian logic for you.
In response to your question: if you think gay men are beautiful and very feminine, then you have not met very many gay men. Some gay men are feminine, to be sure. But most are not. Chances are, dozens of men around you are gay and you can't tell. Gay men are, for all intents and purposes, ordinary men.

In islamic teaching to be a lesbianist or a hommosexualist is prohibited. They will have a great sins, because they are against with God's good intention by creating man and wo
man.In Surah 7 Al A'raaf God has given information that God have abolished Luth prophet people who made lesbianism and hommoism.Besides that now we know that if we often replaced our sexual partners we will get an HIV/AID diseases which is difficult to be cured..Making sex between a man and a woman is much more convenient and satisfied than between the same sex.But you should get married before you have sex.Adultery is not allowed too.

By your stereotypical standards, why are hetero's so stupid? Are you able to experience any cognitive reasoning? You should be embarrassed. Actually all of "you" that keep asking the same hateful, idiotic, bigoted questions should feel embarrassed by your lack of human experience. It is regretful to get this far along in life and you have nothing to teach or to share that is uplifting or helpful to humanity.
What is your worth? Make your time count.
