what was up with linkin park changing their standards on their music?

i remember reading on their site they were saying that explicit lyrics or vulgarity takes the focus away from the music and stuff...but here they are with frickin jay-z collaborating with a parental advisory label album.

Personally, I'm thrilled that their new album is hitting the street May 15th... and it's supposedly their best work YET - yay!
