Lately 4-5 days before my period I get irrational, moody, depressed, cry all the time. This has just started happening. Any herbs or medicine?

I think you may have PMDD. Do some research on it and see if you have the symptoms. There are many birth control pills out there and maybe one of those would help. Also, if it is severe enough you might consider talking to your dr. about it. They may suggest a mild anti-depressant to help cope with the mood swings and depression. You definately should see a dr.

I am not sure how old you are, but I take a birth conrtol pill that helps to curve the moodiness. That is the only reason that I take them as I am not able to have children anyway. I think it may be working as this month was much better than last.

I take prenatal vitamins even though I have never been pregnant which helps my hair, skin, and nails has also helped my mood some. Yes, I checked with my dr and she said it was safe for me to do. Check with your dr to see if it's safe for you to do this if you decide to try it.

I also take B Complex. You can buy just a separate bottle of B6 which is very helpful to the issue of mood.

I would also suggest contacting your dr for additional suggestions.
