Well she did grow up , took along time but she did make it.
She is still the same in personality , hates to see anyone get hurt or made fun of, has a sense of justice and kindness that she has had since she brought home her first stray cat. Seen all her faults when she turned 24 and has changed herself in a lot of different ways for the better. This kid who grew up has not quit growing and I think if she did she would be dead. Change can be a good thing as long as you only change the bad stuff. Everyone has a bit of both and it is up to them which side they would like to live their life by, I still need to grow some more , still have some more bad qualities that I need to work on . OOPs There it is ....I still have my inner child she is still with me.

That little kid that was me grew up and found out life was not a bed of roses and it was not on her side all the time...
She found out a black cloud can follow you around and haunt you so many times...
She found out life is not fair or right...
She found out death comes all too often to those we love...

She grew up believing she was ugly and useless like her mother told her. Shes finally forgiving herself for believing it. She knows shes beautiful.

I would say she ran away but come to think of it I don't think I ever got to be a kid when I was younger.

She was killed by a pack of vicious little bastards somewhere between 6th and 8th grade. Too bad, she was a sweet kid.
