You can't marry him legally without a divorce or annulment. You need to move somewhere where you can divorce, then marry the boyfriend. Of course, if the Phillipines doesn't recognize divorce, they might not consider your second marriage legal even if the US did.

Ireland didn't allow divorce until recently. Prior to the law changing, many Irish people moved to England and got a divorce there. I don't believe their new marriages were recognized in Ireland.

what is a girl like you who is married doing with a boyfriend. i think that what you call adultery, if you are estranged from your husband and you are in the philippines and your husband is someplace else then you file for either legal separation then annulment of your marriage. you will spend a lot of money but then your bf if he really likes you can spend his hard-earned dollars so he marry you legally.

How can you be married and want to marry another? How shameful can you be? This is a sin. A sin against your husband and every one in the family. What makes you do such a thing honey? You are already commiting adultery in your mind. You'd better go for confession. God bless you!

You need to leave well enough along if there's no divorce in your country, you'd only cause this guy a life of misery. He'll find someone who's available in time, and hopefully be happy.
