it must be 8-10 pages in length.. i have books and info for it but i don't know how to get started on writing it. I'm really bad at writing essays and don't like to do them. but this is worth 200 pts so i have to do it.

It helps if you start off with an outline. Figure out what your key points are on the effects of music on chronic pain. Does it help? Is it harmful? Or does music have no effect at all? Once you established your key points, you will need to support that with research evidence which will be the main body of your paper. Your key points should be part of your thesis statement.

Just remember, even though its a research paper what you are basically doing is writing a story. As the previous answer said from an outline. I'm assuming that music has multiple affects on chronic pain so make those your sub headings under your main heading which probably would be music has many/multiple/significant effects (you choose) on chronic pain. The take the effects sub headings and organize them from best to worst. Lead with the best or most significant effects first and so on until you get to the least effect. After that slap on a conclusion which is basically a summary of what you wrote.
