The constitution allows us the right to protect our citizens. That said, a war on terror is rather vague, and thus gives the president the ability to fight such a war wherever he wants. In contrast, Bush has violated our most sacred document numerous times. And even worse, congress and the courts have done nothing about it, they have let him get away with the whole thing. To me a war on terror should be fought through back channels, using the CIA and special forces units to take out cells, not invade an entire country, and in return, attract much more terrorist attention because of our actions.

The Constitution provides that the state must protect its people from threats. Terrorism is the greatest threat to US nowadays. Thus, the government can wage a war against countries that support terrorism just like Iran and North Korea as a valid exercise of the police power of the state.

I would really feel more comfortable trying to fight the war on terror by redesigning the constitution.

Impeach George Bush and charge him with engaging in terrorism/war illegally, violating his oath to uphold the constitution, conspiracy to overthrow Foreign Governents for Political and Economic gains for entities that directly contribute to his own personal economy.ie Venuzualan Coup attempt/Iraq.

Terrorists do exist, but to consider Patriot's from foreign lands that we invaded in the same definition is truly absurd.
