A healthy marriage does not depend on age difference, but on love. Since this is an arranged marriage give her some time after the wedding to get to know you much better so that she can feel comfortable and perhaps end up enjoying your company. Maybe, she will not focus on the age difference. Good Luck!

My wife is 21 and I am 33 years older than her so I don't think that age difference is a problem.
As for arranged marriages I cannot comment because I have always had to arrange my own.
Biggest problem is usually gender difference because men and women think differently but most couples get over that so the age thing shouldn't be a problem.

&My parents were 18 years apart. They were happy until the end. My father died of Diabetes. My husband and I are 10 years apart and will be married for 25 years this coming August. We have 5 children & 6 grandchildren. My husband and I have had our differences, but what couple hasn't? We are still in love. My oldest daughter & her husband are 8 years apart & have 2 kids. I think it runs in the family. lol GOOD LUCK !!!! Remember it takes TWO to make a commitment & a marriage.

That can only depend on what two ages you are talking about. If you are 20 and she is 12, that would be a problem. If you are 30 and she is 22 that could work out okay.

Age is nothing but a number is what most of this generation has decided to deal with. So, if the two of you can be happy as a couple, nothing else should prevent a good marriage.

3 to 5 years is ideal. Considering other factors and contexts more difference is also possible. Nothing harm in that . Proceed.

my next door neighbors are married. he is 65 and she is 22. they seem to have a wonderful marriage. as for arranged marriage DON'T DO IT. you don't want to marry to please ur family, you want to marry for LOVE, otherwise the rest of ur life will be completely miserable.
