I did a recovery on Windows XP. I checked the capacity of my hard drive and it's fillled, meaning that my documents and stuff are still saved onto there. But I have no idea where. Please help.

HP Restore would only let me go back five days, and that wasn't going to fix the problem. And like I said, my hard drive is listed as 217GB being used out of 224GB. So my files are still on there, but I don't know where. There are only two users and I've looked through both. And I also know that my files are still there because I used one of my own pictures as my welcome screen icon and it still shows up.

Also went to defragment my hard drive, and as it's drefragmenting, I can see the names of the files I can't find being moved.

Doing a recovery you will lose your data. It tells you to save before you do the recovery. You could recover it, but they sell the programs for like $40 US and to me not worth it , unless you got a business or something.
