I don't feel invisible, but now I feel like I want to hug total strangers that are! lol
I've noticed something about people lately. I call them the walking dead. It's like some people don't even have the ability to relate to other people. I can also notice the people that seem totally awake and alive but they are so few and far between. I wonder whats happening out there. So many people are on meds now for one thing or another. I think there's a total zombie effect. Someone on here answered that they say hi to people and they don't even respond. I don't think its you, I think its them. Look for those "awake" people, and say hi to them, you'll get a response, I promise. I've also wondered if we set a time, for everyone in the virtual community to just go outside, and stand on the sidewalk, what would happen. Every person on here answering, all the bloggers, all the chatters. How full might the sidewalks be?
Are we so into the virtual thing that were losing the ability to relate one on one?
Ok..its late..now I'm just rambling on..and on..and on
HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGS to all the ppl that feel they're invisible, I see ya ;)

I was just thinking about that today. I was walking down a busy street and I looked someone in the eyes and said "hello" and they ignored me. Perhaps I just blend in and am somewhat invisible. However, I think it is more likely we have all been conditioned to live in our own little worlds and we are uncomfortable with even small intrusions. So the result is many feel invisible because we are around others, but don't engage others in any way.

A lot of the time, yes. I feel invisible to my family, my friends, and most of all to men.

People are still recognizing me from when my mug shot was plastered all over the evening news a year ago. I WISH I was invisible.

Not at all! I am so much alive there is a glow around me that is visible from space…the only problem is that the most of the world is blind so they don’t see me…their loss. I am happy-go-lucky, ripe and bubbly and very much visible to those around me and that’s all that matters.

I saw someone at the top of the Grand Canyon saying: Isn't this incredible, compared to this we are insignificant nothings.
My daughter told me the man was Will Smith.
