Don't believe anything they say about each other. Check out web sites, newspapers, or magazines, that give REAL information about the candidates and the things they stand for. Don't vote for someone because they look good on TV.

Of course. Many people do. Thats why politicians continue to throw mud. I think that mudslinging is the only time pols might actually be telling the truth.

People seldom change their voting attittudes when politicians throw mud at each other because they know who are telling the truth.

Yes, I vote against the mud thrower everytime ( if the other guy does really suck, I vote for a third party in that one)

You bet I do! I never vote for the slinger, but I'll still consider the slingee if they're just defending themselves by slinging back... if it gets childish (and most of the time it does), I'll take a closer look at the options of the lesser known candidates.

I generally support the underdog anyway.

in national elections usually not. but in local elections, yes... i usually DON'T vote for the people doing all the mudslinging. if there are two candidates mudslinging at eachother i will either vote for another candidate or i won't vote at all if there isn't another one.

I once changed my mind about who to vote for -- in that the person who THREW the mud lost my vote! If more voters would do that .................................. !
