There is no female part on that song. And Maggie May isn't ever said in the lyrics either. More wild facts below on top link.

I believe you meant the song Tonight's The Night, which features towards the end of the song his then girlfriend Britt Eklund just saying some random French sentences to hauntingly steamy effect.

It's Maggie May, not Maggie's Way and it was recorded by The Faces before Rod Stewart went solo. I believe there was a later version recorded with Sheryl Crow but the original version does not have a female vocalist. It's just Rod Stewart
