Nay- unless you count me being a geek and programminug a font programme to reproduce my own handwriting (a skill I wish I had when I was still in school).

I agree with you, I'd love to get handwritten letters as well but unfortunately these days most people prefer emails as it's much faster, although I do get handwritten postcards from friends abroad from time to time. I do send some handwritten ones to close friends and relatives on special occasions.

My wife's cousin sends us letters all the time. He is a bit of a Nomad. His travel usually take him to the more interesting places that America has to offer. The neat thing is, his handwriting is the most amazing I have ever seen. It is almost a calligraphy of sorts and very beautiful. I have become a slave to the e-mail system and have not put pet to paper in a very long time. However, if the right person were to ask, I would have to jot down a note and send it on it's way. They might need a decryption code sequence though. My handwriting is awful.

*sigh* not anymore. I used to have a friend in Delhi and when I moved to Hyderabad, we used to write letters to each other (back then there was no e-mail). Then, I moved and my grandmother misplaced a letter of hers....I didn't have her address and so I lost touch with a friend and the only person who still wrote me handwritten letters.

Yes my best friend who lives down my street still sends me handwritten letters, lol. Shes crazy like that and we see eachother all the time but she likes for me to keep them in my safe box so we can look back on it and remember those precious moments you know?
Its sweet and I dont get bored of it at all yet I dont like to write handwritten letters, I like to just receive them and thats it, lol.

yes me and my old best friend from 7th grade write letters. It's fun. And of course I've graduated last year and my best friend now hasn't yet. So we send little letters to each other through people we know. Keeps us up to date on how we are doing.

I have had a penpal since we were 12, and we write all the time. Letters are so much more fun than emails, and I always look forward to collecting my mail.
