No and I have never heard that before. Easter Bunny is all I've ever heard it called. What's next, the tooth fairy being called the Dental Lifestyle Choice Person?

No he is the Easter bunny, always was always will be.Just like its a Christmas tree not a holiday tree, its St. Valentine's Day not Valentine's Day, It's St. Patrick's Day, not drunken Irish Day, Does all this PC-ness really have to change tradition.
And Santa C, you of all people had to ask this question. Would you like it if you had your name changed after all these years just so the word "Saint" was eliminating from your name, after all most kids identify you as just Santa?
Hey suzieeee and the evil twins, if there is no Jesus then explain why there is Easter, come on bust some more bubbles for us. Damn Heathen!

I think so always trying to rename things so to not offend..I think it is unnecessary. I know the real meaning of Easter of course but the "Easter Bunny" is for the little kids.

No- but it wouldn't really matter to me if they did. Since the Easter bunny doesn't have very much to do with Jesus' ressurection and takes the focus off of where it should be.

Yes, and I hate it- why can't they just leave our special things alone !!!! It has been the ''EASTER BUNNY" for-forever - The kids are happy -just leave it alone.

Who cares. Easter was a pagan goddess, and Easter is not a Christian day to begin with.
Jesus rose three days after Passover. Not on Easter Sunday.
(What gets me is Christians trying to "save" pagan holidays. I am a Christian and I call it "winter vacation"!)

the most likely reason behind this is that the bunny and egg symbols truly have nothing to do with the christian perception of the holiday.

Buddy, I'm gonna be the first to tell you this. There are no bunnies by any name who deliver eggs to you. It's your parents.
I know, I know, it's hard to believe. Same with Santa and Jesus.

Yes they do. I personally like it better. I am not a religious person so in my life I don't appreciate religious customs.
