What is a good type of computer to take apart and put back together?

To upgrade it or make it at least run better and faster.

Anything that is cheap and you dont really care if you accidently bust. Laptops are a pain to open up and do much with. Manufactured computers can somtimes be tricky such as dell and gateway and compaq so i would try like an emachine or something to that effect because they tend to be very straightforward.

you dont want to take apart a pc if you don't have a motherboard manual, or you don't know what you are doing, but i would say a older dell, IBM
