What happened on Grey's Anatomy plzzzzzz?

Let's see Meredith invited Alex to take George's old room so he starts of the day by walking in on Izzie naked getting out of the shower as he was going to retrieve his toothbrush. Izzie is embarassed being naked but Alex reminds her that he has already seen everything she has and he is no longer interested.

Izzie goes to Meredith's room to ask her to kick Alex out because it is odd having had sex with him having him in the room next door. Meredith who is lying next to Derek tells Izzie that her mother is dead and she has had a near death experience and right now she values people. She wants to have her people around her. And besides, she didn't really know where Alex ever lived and he is one of her people.

At the hotel George is having breakfast and talking to Callie about Izzie who Callie says hates her and wants to break up their marriage. George is telling her that it is not as bad as all that, she is just being his friend and she has a tendency to tell things with out thinking how it will effect others. Callie says that she thinks it is more, she thinks Callie wants George for herself. He tells her she is crazy and he gives her two hundred dollars to go towards the room, his half.

Izzie is still a little curious as to Alex's new found oblivion to her sex appeal and it sounds as though he has moved on and has found someone new. Izzie is wondering if she will always be the woman you lost Denny.

At the Hospital Mark is prowd to tell Addison that it has been two months and he has not touched another woman. She says she can't believe he has made it that far. He tells her that she is worth it.

In the Locker room Meredith is butting things to rest saying she is fine and her mother was cremated and is sitting in the back of her closet in a vase she bought.

Derek has an old friend of his as a patinent and he wants to operate on her to remove a brain tumor before it is too late to do so. The woman does not want the surgery but he is insistant that she have it so that she can live a long life.

At rounds Miranda comes out and tells George that he is with Derek, Izzie and Christina have beds, Alex is with Jane Doe, and Meredith is in the pit. Meredith says she is fine. Miranda tells her that her mother just died and she is in the pit.

George talks with Callie about breakfast and whether he should kick in more money. Callie says she made a dael. george is wondering how much this is all costing them. Callie lies and says two hundred. He is thinking breakfast alon must be costing fifty a day. She says it is okay. He is not satisfied so she breaks down and tell him that the rent is $2500 a week. He is wondering where the money is coming from. She says her parents were rich. He says she is an heiress. He is wonder what she has been doing with the money he has been giving her. She says she tips the maid with it. He walks out.

The rest of the interns are all standing outside Richard's office looking to see who the new outside candidate for his job is. They hear he is from Stanford, like Christina. Christina says that is fine because everyone in Stanford loved her. Preston shows up and wants to know what they are all waiting for so they tell him and as soon as they doOut walks Richard and the man from Stanford. Preston immediately recognizes him as a professor and Cardiac surgeon with his own maneuver named after him. Preston introduces himself and the professor seems to know of Preston too. But more significantly the professor knows of Christine and he wants a hug which she gives him but he grabs her *** at the same time.

Preston and Christina talk about this in a stairwell as Christina explains that he never asked her every man she slept with. Preston was alarmed to find out she slept with her professor, her cardio professor. it was like this is her routine.

Alex visits with Jane Doe and explains to her that Mark wanst to fix the orbital socket around her eye before it does any more damage. She is worried about hurting the baby. he tells her she will be on a monitor and they will know if anything happens. They will take care of it. She trusts him.

Izzie examines a man who has a bullet in his back from the Korean war and it is hurting. They wouldn't take it out in the war where it was located and now it is in the shoulder blade. Izzie gets xrays to see what it is before they do any thing.

Meredith is now talking to Christina about the professor and how she knew a girl like her in college but she never knew of anyone lucky enough to sleep with the cardio thoracic professor. She is impressed.

In another part of the hospital Derek is introducing himself to the Professor and inviting him to look in on his brain surgery. The Professor is glad to whatch such a surgery. Preston, jealous invites the man to look in on his surgery as well, being a Cardio man. The man accepts.

Richard and Mirand join Izzie in telling the man that the bullet has to come out, that it is damaging his shoulderblade. He tells them he wants the bullet. He says he was fragged by his men. He wants to prove it happened. He asks Izzie if she had ever had a friend that did something that she knew was wrong but she couldn't prove it. She couldn't show them what was wrong?

Meredith is walking when she sees her Father and Step mother and immediately ducks in a supply closet. Christina walking the other direction spies the professor coming her way so she too ducks in the supply closet. They are telling each other why they are there and saying this in my hiding place. Meredith's mother in law and the professor come to the door and say how someone is hiding from them in the closet. They knock on the door and get the girls to come out.

Meredith's mother in law is there for Meredith. They know about her mother dying and they want to have dinner with her. They want to get to know her. Reluctantly, Meredith agrees to dinner.

Meanwhile, the professor wants to know what is up with Christine. She tells him she is in a reationship. She is getting married. He tells her she always said that she was not the marrying type. She is telling him things change.

Meredith has to tell Derek that they are having dinner with her Father. Derek is oay with it.

In Surgery Mark is having problems as the fetal monitor goes off and Alex notices that Jane is bleeding. Mark sends him to go get Addison.

In his surgery Derek is also having problems with air in the line on his patients heart as she is going into arrest. Derek hasten to work on her heart as the professor is there to tell him how to proceed.

Out in the hallway Preston is upset as Derek did surgery that he should not have attempted if Preston was there to do it for him. He thought it was showing off.

A similar argument ensues when Addison yells at Mark for rushing Jane into surgery so close to the accident. She had to sew the woman's cervix shut. He told her that if he had not done the surgery she would have been blind in a day. She thought he was just grandstanding for the professor. Richard is walking in and is telling them that he tired of hearing doctor's yelling in the hallway. They are supposed to be the ones setting the example.

At lunch, meredith is telling Cristina and Izzie that she has to fix dinner for her father and she wants an emergency in case she wants out of it, plus she has to cook. Izzie is willing to do the cooking. Christina will have to give her the emergency. Meanwhile Izzie wants to know about the professor and how good he was. He was old so she is wondering if her used Viagara. She won't let it go until finally Christina tells them how wonderful those little blue pills can be. George is there still upset that his wife is rich. He is telling this to Meredith but Izzie tells him to get over it.

After lunch Izzie, Richard, and Callie are working on the man with the bullet in his back when it comes out about the the fact that Callie can afford things. Callie looks at Izzie and is mad.

Christina and Derek are getting into it again over the professor and the bit about how Christina was not the marrying kind. She said she was doing it for Preston. Preston did not want it if she was just doing it for him. He storms off upset.

Later Izzie and Richard visit the man to give him his bullet but he is unable to recognize from as little of it as there is whether it came from one of his men. They told him over time that was all that remained. He wondered why he waited this long.

At the apartment Callie is upset with George for telling Izzie about the money. He told Callie he was venting at lunch to Meredith and Izzie was just there. Callie is saying he always picks his friends over her. George is saying that is not true. He says Izzie is just head strong and a friend. Callie is saying Izzie wants him and she wants to break them up. George is saying that it is not true. Callie tells George to leave her room. George goes.

At the house dinner is happening. Izzie is cooking. Derek Meredith and her father and his wife are trying to make pleasant conversation about the baby and what but it is hard to do. Alex arrives and Meredith quickly has him sit down to eat and ask him how his day was. Alex says it was fine.

Thatcher is trying to talk about his daughter and the baby but he compares the baby to a photo and forgets that the girl in the photo was Meredith. Merdith corrects him.

The power goes out and Thatcher is quick to get out of the room to go fix it. Meredith offers to show him where it is but she remembers the house was his to begin with. he knows where to go.

This leaves Meredith with her mother in law who is telling her that thatcher is afraid of her, not knowing what to say. Christina shows up with her emergency but Meredith doesn't need one. Christina is telling her it is a real emergency. She thinks her relationship has ended.

Derek is sent to go help thatcher by bringing him a flash light. Thatcher is just sitting there in the room thinking. Derek is telling him it is going okay. thatcher sees that Derek knows Meredith well. Derek tells him that Meredith is a lot into her work. Thatcher is telling Derek he might as well turn the power back on.

Alex leaves to go see some one. Izzie is thinking he has moved on and he has a date.

George arrives with a bottle of liquor and Izie on his mind telling her that she has to end this thing with Callie because he needs a friend and they have to talk and they have to drink.

The dinner party is pretty much ending on a pleasant note as Meredith show them out the door. On the porch Meredith says good bye to the step mother and is going to say goodbye to her father when he notices the glider does not swing. Meredith says nobody uses it so it has been stuck in one spot so long it does not swing. Thatcher pulls a pin out of the swing and tells her he put it there when she was young because she used to get her fingers stuck in the swing. She was touched and after he left made the swing rock.

Meanwhile George and Izzie are getting drunk as he is telling her that Callie thinks Izzie has a thing for him and she is jealous. He is a fraid he messed up getting married. Izzie let down her hair as they finish off the bottle of whiskey and eventually they kiss.

Derek has gone to the hospital to check on his patient and tell her that her tumor is gone for good but that he is sorry he pushed her into the surgery. he nearly lost her and that was wrong.

Upstairs at the house, Meredith is in bed with Christina who seems to be spending the night as Burke is upset with her.

The next morning Izzie wakes up Naked in bed with a hangover and the realization the George is naked in bed with her and they have had sex.

The overlying thought at this poit is sometimes problems have a tendency to repeat themselves.

a whole lot of nothing, Cali and O Malley are having issues so of course he goes running to Izzy and they end up in bed together. Everyone finds out Cali has money (shes an heiress of some sort) Christina former teacher (and lover) comes to town (dont remember why) but Burke notices she has a "thing" for authority figures and thinks twice about the proposal. As for Meredith her dad comes to town with his wife and has dinner with her and Mc Dreamy that was kinda boring so I dont know the whole deal. I felt like this episode was a builder for more to come. We don't actually know that George and Izzy sleep together. One minute we see them drunk together and looking into each others eyes(no touching) and next its morning and they are naked and in bed together. It is a jump for us to assume they slept together. I think we're going to find that they're not going to rememeber the night before either, and won't know if they did the dirty deed or not.

George and his wife got into a fight because she thinks that izzy wants george. He accidently says she wouldn't because shes a superstar and says shes to good for him. Georges wife gets offended because that degrated her. George goes to izzy and talks to her about it. George and izzy get drunk and bone.

Christina and burke get into a fight also. Burke thinks CHristina is just marriying him because he is a good doctor. The marriage potentially comes to an end.

Grey and her father have awkward dinner together with mcdreamy and the other guy intern.

merideth lives, runs into her stepmom at the hospital and they end up making a dinner date which was really awkward for merideth and her dad but they made it through it and things may get a little better for merideth and her new found family

the chief is trying to figure out who he is going to appoint chief when he leaves and brings in a new guy that is a big heart surgeon like burke and all the guys are trying to show off trying to get attention so they can be picked for chief, well the heart surgeon was a professer at stanford when christina was going to school and they dated for three years and burke found out and is very upset cause apparently the professor had asked christina to marry him many times and she turned him down saying marriage was basically for stupid people so burke is very upset and questioning his proposal to christina

george is asking callie how much theyre rent is and callie ends up telling him that she is rich and asks him not to tell anyone but he ends up telling izzy and merideth and izzy busts george out in surgery when she says a smart comment to callie and callie got pissed and went home to george and asked him why he told, callie also told george that izzy likes him and george just kinda laughed and made callie feel like poop by telling her that izzy is way too hot for him and wouldnt see him that way, callie kicks him out cause he hurt her feelings he ends up going back to merideths and getting drunk with izzy and sleeping with her

madison and mc steamy are thinking of having relationship but she tells mc steamy that he cannot sleep with anyone for at least two months and if he can do that she will think about having a relationship with him

derek did brain surgery on one of his friends from the hospital he worked at in new york, she had a brain tumor and he ended up having to cut her open to keep her heart going he ended up getting all the tumor out of her brain so she would never have to have surgery again

some old college professor of christina's applied to the job of chief, and it turns out that christina and this prof were in a relationship for 3 years...burke found out and got mad. and this prof is also an excellent cardiothoracic surgeon like dr burke.

meredith had dinner with her father, and it was very awkward b/c they were both nervous.

it turns out that callie is actually kind of an heiress - her family has LOTS of money. she and george have been living in an expensive hotel. she told george she's been paying the hotel all this money b/c her family has a lot of money, then george gets mad at her. then callie suggests that the reason izzie hates her is because izzie is in love with george. callie kicks george out of the hotel room, where he goes back to talk to izzie, but they both get drunk and sleep together.

alex has been going to the hospital in his free time to talk with the pregnant girl whose face is all swelled up. he encouraged the girl to have a surgery, but then in the surgery she almost lost the baby, but it's ok b/c she didn't lose it.

and dr. mcdreamy and dr. mcsteamy have been trying to show off to the prof guy, but they both almost totally screw up their surgeries in the process.
