should i buy the pin on ebay or something or should i just tell her that i lost it or what? i don't want to make her sad or make her feel that i don't care about her and what she gives me.

maybe you should tell her you lost it but also tell her how heartbroken you are that it's gone and ask her to help you pick out a new one to remeber your trip to disneyland :o)

Tell her the truth, but also tell her how upset you are about losing it. Tell her you've thought of looking on Ebay to find another one like it because it meant so much to you. She may be sad that you lost it but appreciate that you're sad about it. We all have accidents and lose things at one time or another.

Does the pin cost a lot of money? Is it easy to buy another one? If it doesn't cost a lot of money, go ahead and purchase it. Then don't EVER misplace it.

Just straight out tell her. If you lie to her then you'll make her even more sad (and possibly angry). Just be honest. A good friend will understand.
