Your friend is not the only person to experience this. There are some women who suffer post-natal depression, but can rebound and bond with their child. Other women, however, can't seem to bond with their child. Either way, the best thing your friend can do is seek some help from a doctor or therapist. This is actually a more common situation that they deal with, and it's nothing to be embarassed about. The best thing she can do for her child and for her self is seek some help immediately. She'll be ok...!

You are right. Not only is everyone is into being a mommy, but being a mommy means different things to different people. Freedom of speech is exactly that and everyone has the option of just not listening.

obviously small minded people are the ones judging your friend. Your friend has a real case of "un- maternal" feelings. this is not unheard of especially in today's society. Me personally i don't think many people are children orientated these days. There's no need to be now that money is easy to come by.

Yeah I have friends like that. Its hard for them to be affectionate with their own children. Crazy but its gonna take somthing drastic in her life to learn to appriciate being a mother and to not take her child for granted.
Losers are just that.....LOSERS!! Pay no attention to them and they'll GO AWAY!!

Sorry, but mom jeans were never in style. They are just not flattering. Not even if you pair them with a snazzy floral print vest.
