Jane Fonda is a hero to many liberals. She is the epitome of what a great Liberal is. A war protestor with plenty of 3X5 paper and a lot of free saturdays and sundays.

Jane Fonda is pretty darned famous for being a liberal in addition to an actress. The fitness guru thing is more of an obscure trivia question at this point.
In my opinion, no, she's not a great liberal. I feel that way because she's done a lot to discredit liberals. She represents the worst of 70's self involved liberalism that went too far.
To me a great liberal would be a populist. Someone who stands up for the little guy and wins.

Jane Fonda is a traitor! Asked any of the POWs that she saw in Vietnam. She was passed notes by these guys and she turned them over to their captors. So Yeah...You could say she's the poster child for the far left!!

JF is very liberal.
But the word "great" and Jane Fonda just can't go together.

I'm a Liberal and guess what--I consider Hanoi Jane to be a traitor who should have been tried and convicted for her actions in Vietnam during that war.
Because of that, I have little respect for her views on any political subject--even those where I might agree with her position.

Hinoy Jane! No way. I recently visited a VFW Post in CA. At the bottom of the urinals in the men's restroom were targets with the picture of Hinoy Jane, honest!
