Try for prepaid cabs - both Delhi Police operated or private operators - booking available at arrival lounges after luggage belts.
You haven't mentioned location in Gurgaon. Charges are normally per kilometer based @ Rs.5-6 per Km + 25% extra for night charges between 11:00 p.m.- 06:00 a.m.

it will be no problem to get a cab to go to Gurgaon. They will charge extra for crossing state lines, but it should be no more than 500 rs.

Plenty of Taxis would be available. Please collect coupon for pre-paid service. Enroll your name and address with Delhi police along with taxi number at the exit. This is for your safety. The charges would be Rs. 250/- to Rs. 400/- approximately depending on the exact location. Do not hire cab from travel agents.

if you are hesitant to use a cab at night try out some of the car rental service. you can find one at makemytrip.com. I would prefer to use cab rental service rather than taxi at night if i am alone. Pay extra few bucks and reach home safely.

Go to the prepaid booth operated by Delhi Police. Dont go the private booth please. The charges will be around Rs 150-200.

There are prepaid cabs available.. if you need to book it in advance by travel agent pls check "holidayclubindia.net"
travel agent will charge min 1100 -1200 rs
