I am new to Star wars so I do like episode3
But I love star trek Voyager and as for captain Kirk

Episode 5 of Star Wars, _The Emprire Strikes Back_ which was the second movie made, is the best of those movies.
Of the Star Trek series, The Next Generation (ST:TNG) was the best.

Star Wars: I like episode IV best - it was the first one made, and was 'WAY ahead of its time.
Star Trek - I like both the original series from the 60s and Next Generation; TOS had better stories, in terms of pure sci-fi merit; TNG had a lot better acting (Shatner was AWFUL in the 60s show). Voyager was so-so, as was DS9; Enterprise was a nice concept, but came at a bad time, when people had had their fill of Trek for a while, so I'm not sure it ever got a fair shake.
Best captain - Picard, hands down! :-)
