# P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance

But it could mean go to auto zone and replace the cam shaft sensor too. I would do that first. But unfortunately if you go cheap, use the URL above and find out by the diagram what is wrong.

it means not receiving signal from cam shaft signal so computer has gone to base timing and fuel mode, or limp in mode, knowing all the codes won't help you fix it, without some knowledge and a scanner for live data so you can really see what is going on with it. for instance a knock sensor could be bad screwing with the cam sensor canceling each other out but the effect is the same, so lets say you replace them both but you have a vacuum leak in the motor transducer or EGR Valve stuck or Not functioning then that could be your problem. lose intake bolts on the SAME SIDE COULD CAUSE A PROBLEM AS WELL, the COMPUTER MIGHT HAVE A BAD EPROM AND NEEDS a new one or the computer has shorted out, I forget it that one the computer has the quad drivers in it or not?? if it does then even a short in the ac could blow a diode in the computer causing you all this fun stuff. if you really want to fix it your self, buy the tools and the information and be prepared to a lot of learning and reading, go to www.aldata.diy.com buy the subscription and read all you want about it. it also tells you where everything is and how it works and the power train management system works so you can get an understanding of what you are doing. Or what it is you are asking of us out here.
