my husband and i have been trying to conceive for 7 months and i just started trying the ovulation tests to predict when ovulation occurs. On the 15 day of my cycle, the test told me that i was ovulating. is it normal to ovulate so late when my period is short- 25 days?

I would speak with your OBGYN. Late ovulation can make it a lot more difficult for you to concieve because your ovaries are producing eggs that have not properly matured (and if they are mature, your ovulation window is much much smaller)
There are some simple tests that may be done, and inexpensive methods to help bring ovulation on earlier that your doctor can discuss with you.

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus it keeps tracks of your periods. It will even email you ahead of time to alert you of your upcoming fertile/ovulation and period dates. It is a free and very helpful website.

A woman with a 25 day cycle, most likely ovulated between day 11 and day 15. This is generally speaking of course.

Totally normal. Ovulation happens, for most people, somewhere between ten and sixteen days before menstruation. Go have fun.

It sounds like its right to me. Every woman is different and so are our cycles. When I took the tests, mine was different from month to month.

i think its normal as long as its consistent, whats normal for you might not be normal for someone else but if it is consistent for you then it is normal
