I am an indian .I got student visa in australia ,I had indian international car licence .If at all I want to drive taxi in australia for part time .indian car license is enough or I need to have an another car license at australia.I am going to australia by 10march2007 so send me details TO [e-mail] or [e-mail]

Unfortunately you will need to study and sit for a new license once you're in Australia.

A very good friend of mine married an Indian (who was also there as a student), and he managed to drive for a very short time on his Indian license - but unlike some other countries you can't do a straight swap, and will have to sit for a new license in which ever state you'll be based in.
