The opposite color is definitely ORANGE, but be careful!!!!
Green is the color for Irish Catholics, but orange is the color for the Protestants who support the English.
There's a possibility of getting punched or something if you wear it and go to an Irish pub.
I wouldn't punch you for wearing it if I saw you in the pub, but I would probably say something bad. But if you wanna cause a reaction and be opposite, that's the color.

Orange is technically the opposite of Green, at least on St. Patrick's day, when it makes a religious and political statement.
Or you could just dress for a completely different holiday, such as Christmas or Valentines day, or better yet, Halloween!
