How did you get the job?

Almost every one I had... but web programmer is the coolest of all, and the most interesting/diverse. I got the job leading to this one by pure incredible chance in Germany but then there was a related institution in the States... oh it doesn't matter.

I worked for 1 1/2 year as a V.I.S.T.A. (Volunteers in Service to America) which is now called AmeriCorp. I worked in a housing project with preteens and teens doing recreational activities, tutoring, counseling and community outreach.
My dad was mad because I made so little money (the Volunteer word in the title wasn't far from the truth) but I enjoyed the time, made a career out of that type of work for many years and I use the experience I gained during that time all the time especially in how I parent my own kids.

Well I have only had a few Jobs one of which was a horrible clothing store. Lane Bryant was the worse job
My Best Job was with my family. My dad and Uncle owed a donut shop and for 7 years I worked there when ever I was needed. I loved it. plenty of family and I got to talk to people on a daily basis.

I've only had two so far. But my favorite was when I worked at a local Guess Outlet Store. It was so much fun and I enjoyed helping the customers! I got the job by applying, then when they called me for an interview I made myself available to be interviewed. For the interview I dressed business-casual. I answered all of the interviewer's questions with a posative attitude and had some previous knowledge of their products. I also asked them some questions to let them know that I was seriously interested and that I was listening to them.

worked in a preschool
it was awsome, made me feel responsible and kinda like a father but I was also able to play and that was cool because I was just interacting with the kids. But what a great excuse to play with cars again....lol
My mom worked with preschool kids and suggested it to me. I went to a local school gave them my resume and was hired... Great memory and I'm glad that I had the experience.
Be neat to see the kids when they are all grown up, how cool would it be if they remembered me.

actually, my first job was pretty cool, i worked for a farmer on a produce stand w/ my best friend. but the job i have now is probably my favorite 'real' job. i am teaching esl in korea. i the internet and found it. if you have your degree, i highly recommend something like this.
