How about hair drug test? I am not sure if she needs to be aware of it or not, but here are few things you can read. I also saw Sweat Drug Testing Kits on this site. But I am not sure if that can be used without knowledge of the person you are testing.
Anyway, I say as soon as the baby out, if she in fact smoking pot, get the baby out of there. How can someone take care of a baby, and care for her while they can not even stop smoking during pregnancy and risk the baby's life. Pretty sad....

She should make brownies instead. It's much healthier. In fact, the negative effects on health that come from marajuana only come from smoking marajuana. Now, no one has actually studied this during pregnancy, but when looking at the effects of marajuana during pregnancy, they look interestingly a lot like the effects of cigarette smoking during pregnancy (and I doubt the studies asked for method) and if we look at why smoking marajuana is bad for you, we see the same chemical issues as smoking cigarettes except THC is non-addictive wheras tobacco contains addictive nicotine.
But it's best to stay away from such things when pregnant.

The easiest and most obvious answer is your friend should just ask his wife. He should voice his concerns if he does believe she is and find out information on the harm marijuana can do to a baby while in the womb.

If she is what is he going to do throw her out of the house make her get read of the baby, get a divorce, take the baby way from her. He could drag her to the hosp. to have her tested but if he does that it will cause so much trouble.

Have your friend make her take a drug test! There are at home kits that you can by from the local drug store! It's his child too and he has the right to know the welfare of his child!!!

Either index fingers may smell of marijuana. If she uses an ashtray - check for burnt remains or seeds. If she has an ashtray and smokes cigs, i would be alot more concerned with that.

At-home drug test kit. It's only $14.99. There's one specifically for marijuana. I've heard that it stays in your hair for a very long time after.

ouch. well, he should outright ask her. and if he really doesn't trust her....report her to child services. yes, it sucks, but this is for the interest of the child. what if the child is permanently damaged and it ruins his/her whole life? at the same time it would really suck if she told the truth and she feels he doesn't trust her. this marriage doesn't seem to be going well already.

Does he not have a sense of smell? All he has to do is smell her hair. If it smells like hay then she's smoking weed.

Um have him ask her to take a drug test,refusal is as good as an admittance
