An emotional affair is when u r giving ur feelings to someone other than your spouse. They can ruin a relationship. And yes flirting on the internet and in chat rooms and on personal sites is cheating!

Yes they can be extremly harmful....
An emotional affair generally starts innocently enough as a friendship.
An emotional affair is when a person not only invests more of their emotional energy outside their marriage/relationship, but also receives emotional support and companionship from the new relationship.
While there are those who believe that an emotional affair is harmless, most marriage experts view an emotional affair as cheating without having a sexual relationship.

An emotional affair is having the same thing as a regular affair only nothing physical and they can be just as harmful to a relationship.

Of course it can be harmful to the relationship and this is why... You should only be having intimate talks with your spouse. A person who is having an emotional affair cannot put 100% in thier marriage. The times they are thinking about the other man or woman they should be thinking about thier wife or husband instead. It is as though the relationship is there but gone. A person who is having these feelings should be upfront with thier spouse and try to work on what they are missing out of the marriage instead of fantasizing about the other person.

Emotional affairs can be worse. Most of the time emotional affairs come from fantasies. These thoughts are distorted because fantasies are better than reality. Therefore, how can your current relationship live up to this emotional distorted affair that seems soooo much better than what you have. You will grow to think your current relationship is dull. Don't let that happen over something that is just a vapor!!

Extremely and most turn physicial after a wail.
The problem then is was the fantasy up to your thinking or did reality kick the door in and destroy the marriage?
All forms of adultery are bad for a marriage look inward not outward to find sulitions to your problems in marriage.

emotional affair is when your partner is in love with someone but u. they might not even be having sex, but your partners' thoughts would be occupied with someone else but u. this is very harmful to relationships and is much worse than your partner just f'u'c'k'i'n'g someone else

i personally think it's the worse kind.
who would want there partner to have someone else on their mind.
At least a sexual affair is purely physical.
But of course i'd be gutted if either one happened to me.

When someone starts liking someone else. Sometimes you cant really help your feelings but its better to talk about it. It's the things you keep secret that hurt the realtionship.
