Until recently, I owned a very lucrative nail salon and I'm white. Many of my salon owner friends are white and black.

As far as take-outs...most are owned corporately so race isn't relevant.

There is more than one language that exists in the world. Why not try and learn one so you can communicate with your nail tech. I don't speak Spanish very well, but trust me, I learned to understand it perfectly.

If you're disrespectful to someone doing a service FOR you then why would they want to speak to you. People read body language. Its a universal language.

If you weren't so cheap you could go to a full service salon where English is the first language. But then, you'd rather complain, am I right?

In my neighborhood it is the Asians; there has to be about at least 5 Asian-owned businesses on that one highway
