That's not bad at all, but really not that great this year. You'll notice that some days in the tournament are filled with upsets, and if you can go 13 or 14 of 16 on those days, you're doing really well. Today, however, was a day when almost all of the favorites won - Duke's loss was really the biggest upset of the day, and lots of people were talking about that possibility, so it's not like it's a huge surprise.

It's when you get the right #13 seed upsetting a #4 that you really have something to crow about. Or if you pick it correctly when one of the #1 seeds goes out in the second round to a #8. Those are big deals.

those are good ones too have wrong cause they were really the two least talked abuot upsets... the wierd thing about march madness is, u never know until the end which games really matter... some people can get major games wrong in the first round but pick the right champion and win, or they could have the excat same bracket and lose... it all depends on what everyone else is picking, and what ur final four, maybe 8 teams are... if ur bracket looks like a very safe/common bracket when it get down to atleast the final four, maybe elite 8 if theres more people in ur pool, then the 1st round games will matter more, cause most likely u'll be up against a handful of brackets when u get that far, and the more wins in the begining will put u over the hump... but if u were to have a crazy bracket, say the reason u are doing good is because u picked pretty safe and didn't go for many upsets, then ur fine now, but if u get down to it, and anyone else played a safe bracket as well, it will come down to who took more chances, and since it seemed that u picked a lot of straight up games, since duke was the biggest upset, and T tech was a good shot to win, if he took any chances hes prolly got a small lead on u...

Any body can really do good in this thing if you just pick all top seeds. It starts to get tricky in the second and third rounds when the talent is more even. Thats when you can find out if you are a true "Bracketologist"

Don't get too excited. I started 16-0 last season, and then went 6-10 the following day....
