Im looking for business start-up ideas involving goods, services, or people. Looking for instances where a member of the public or a company would rather use the services of a database/introduction agency than hunt in a phonebook.
eg. recruitment agencies for people. skip hire companies for skips

Involve yourself with a business that has a large customer base using the internet, and can offer a variety of goods and services... Built on Product, and Powered By People. Good Luck.

Look around you. What need(s) are you trying to address? why isn't it being addressed? Does it need to be addressed? If so, why? Any good startup must satisfy a need that is not currently being met. Are you going to do something unique or are you trying to improve on an existing product or service? Who would use it? when? How often? Would they come back to it time and again or would it be a one time event? Be sure you clearly identify what it is you want to do before you start soliciting ideas for it.
