Yes, he's Mormon. And ironic enough, out of all the Republican hopefulls (Guliani, John McCain,etc) the only one to have had just one wife.
But I don't think he's the first Mormon candidate, I believe Joseph Smith ran for president.

Yes. But, more importantly he appears to be a straight shooting, moral, family man who has been ultra successful in business and has worked well with the opposite party to get things done. I've typically voted for Dems, but Romney scares me much less than Hillary, that for certain.

yep... from what I understand...
Christians seem to think that the Mormon religion is weird (especially when they hear the details)... so that could hurt him....
but I don't really care one way or the other...
