There's a perception in South East Asia that women should get married soon & be devoted to husbands. Unmarried women will be called spinster. Apparently, women with higher education & financially independent deal with this very well & many of them have made big contribution with to society even they get married late or remain unmarried. It is very important to educate all women bachelorate or married to be knowledgedable in order to build a stronger community.

By assuring that girls have the same access to education as boys, and by providing some strong role models. Remember though, that women should be permitted to make a choice and if that choice is family, then it should be respected as much as a woman who chooses a career and education.

That is cultural differences. But very few women remains that way. If given equal access in education, women can go further than men in their profession.

I don't think they need to be independent. Here in america they are out of control and regardless of what anyone tells you they are not financially stable. The whole economy is going to go between the college loans that don't amount to anything, the homes they bought they cant afford, and all the shopping.

The same way to educate men to be independent and knowledgeable is the best way to educate women the same.
