We look back and think of the spanish inquisition and missionaries distroying cultures to save souls as barbarick. We see the black death as needlessly preventable if they had only cleand up once in a while. Yet this was all only a few hundred short years ago.

So what will future generations think of us in a few hundreed short years time?

We have the 'war on terror'.
We have parents afraid of thier own shadow let alone anyone elses.
We have nuclear bombs sitting, waiting for a war that never came.
We have greed and intolerance everywhere.

What will the future see us as?

Thanks.

the future will see us as the morons that we are. we've screwed up just like every generation before us, and the ones to come will continue to do so. the only reason we can look back and say 'if only they...' is because we know the end result of things. in less someone out there can truly see the future we're stuck on our own and that just isn't good enough in some cases. but we learn from our screw ups. we grow as we need to and rarely before we need to. life goes on and that's just the way it is. we are human, and with that comes flaws.

I'm wondering what the world will be like in 50 years if today's percentages keep rising like they are...

Teen abortion rates are increasing to 1/2 million annually.
A thousand five hundred of us teens will kill ourselves this year.
9 out of 10 of us have seen online porn, usually while doing homework.
1 out of 5 of us has contemplated suicide.
1/3 of us has been drunk in the past month.
Half of us are no longer virgins.
40% of us have experienced self inflicted injury.
1 in 4 of us use illegal drugs.
8 thousand of us contract a std every DAY.
A million of us teens are pregnant
We'll see 14 thousand references to sex on tv this year

And this is just our generation of teenagers...
