whenever I download a port scanner/sniffer, e.t.c., all that does is tell me what ports are opened on MY ip address. But what if I want to know what ports are opened on ANOTHER ip address? Is there a way to do this? I am NOT trying to hack, I am just trying to telnet to another computer, but I can't access it directly. So does anyone know if there is a website you can go to or a program you can download where you can enter an IP address and it will tell you what ports are opened on that IP address?

hah.. I highly doubt it.. because real hackers would totally abuse it!

if you want the ports of anothers computer.. but you can only get your own...

tell the other person to download your port scanner and it will tell them what ports THEY have open.. and they can just tell you.. so you can telnet them.

:P that is.. if this person is awaiting to be telnet'd..

haa im just playin :3

good luck.
