The nearest city to the extreme eastern edge of Honshu (the main island of Japan) is Miyako (population about 62,000) in Iwate Prefecture, northern Japan. The nearest really big city is probably Morioka (about 300,000), the capital of Iwate.

BTW, Nagasaki is on Kyushu Island, NOT Honshu.

A. The big island or any of the Hawaiian islands? I almost got to go on the company but they decided I could do everything remotely. Sadly, they were right. B. I bet the Cayman Islands are warm and sunny right now. hmmm C. Jamaica. See answer B. D. It's summer in New Zealand right now. E. What do you do in Fiji? There's a beach, but it's a lot longer flight than, say, Jamaica or the Caymans. I might take a pass on this one. F. Manhattan. Always something doing there. Literally, 4 Am and there are still lots of things going on.
