not that i agree with the term, everyone gets emotional although emo is a long term emotional/sad person. there are people who generally have had hard lives that they couldn't of necessarily done anything about ext that shouldn't have to be put in a category with the majority of them that are just 'follow the crowd' dopes that choose to be that way.

Emo.... We have a giant emo craze at our school... It derives from the English word emotional. Some people believe that ALL emo people cut their wrists and cry every night. Some do, some don't. It depends on how... depressed you are. Emo fashion has a base color around black. They wear vintage, vintage tees that are really tight, and tight chick jeans. The also wear studded belts and have multi colored hair. The hair thing is optional. Most emo people are awesome, and are kinda artistic, (photography, drawing, poetry, band, ect.).

Emo means...goth. They're whiny, they're the kind of people with the wierd, black hair, cut themselves, make music like 30 Seconds to Mars and such. They're emo is short for emotional.

Emo means a person who is usually always depressed and wear dark clothing and cuts themsleves for enjoyment, for attention, or because of their depression. They usually have long hair that cover their eyes and are usually alone.
