I bought a computer from Wal-Mart (as new) but when I got home I found 2 peoples personal info in it and a trial program that expired 36 days befor I bought it. Was it leagal for them to sell it like that?

Yes if it was a return they must make that know ,, and usually discount the item! I would take it back! Also don't buy a computer from wal-mart!

They will probably say they didn't know that it was like that. Take it back. You bought a used PC, and tell them they sold you one, and they should check all the merchandise that customers return. Complain to the store manager, and call their home office and complain to them.

nope take it back and then call the distict manager on that particular wal mart and complain sometimes they like give you discounts because you were not satisfied

I'm not sure.I think I've seen computers being sold "As Is" in their clearence stuff.I'm assuming that they were returns as the computers were all taped up around the box.

No it was not legal! Noone can sell an item as new if that is not so! Sounds like you have a lawsuit on your hands!

I have bought radios and stuff at wallmart and found used items. I take them back and so far they exchanged it.

I don't think so. they should have informed you that it was used. somebody owes you an apology. I would go back and exchange it or get my money back. you are paying for new and that's what you should get.
