Salary for a receptionist at an animal emergency center?
do they get offered benefits? how about time-off, if requested months in advance, is it guaranteed?

Depends on what state your in really. In Texas $7/hr with no benefits. Connecticut $10-12/hr with benefits. Louisiana $8-10/hr no benefits. Most places will give you time off with prior notice, not paid. In a vet office nothing is guaranteed except backstabbing co workers! I began my career as a vet receptionist with no experience and made $4.25/hr no benefits in Texas in 1992.

as little as the vet wants to pay you ........

i would guess the local vet practice pays about $7 to $9
depends on how many years you have under your belt

8 Bucks an hour, no benefits, and you can probably get the time off, but you probably ownt be paid for it.
