how much would it cost to take it to be done or can it be done?

or is there any way i can do it myself

If the shirt is cotton or a cotton blend, wash the shirt in hot water (unless it's black, use warm water or it will fade) then immediately put it in the dryer on high until it's completely dry.

If it is silk, rayon or another man made fabric, get it tailored. It should only be about $12-$30 depending on the construction and fabrication of the shirt.

My mom gets hers tailored by a "freelance" old guy for just $8 a shirt. I'm sure you can find someone around you who has cheap prices, and if not it shouldn't be too much more expensive. Don't do it yourself =D

Wash in hot water and put it dryer. That always shrinks my T shirts.
