My best friend and I slept together a few times when I div. my husband, we are still friends and I am back with my husband, but my best friend still comes by to see us both at least once a week.

my ex-husband dose know that we slept together, but still stayed best friends afterward. No he dose not try to touch me...I am not sleeping with my ex just seeing if we want to try and make another go at our 17 year marriage...I div. him cuz he was not a good man for more than 10 yrs of that marraige, but never wanted to change until I div. him and went on with my life and no during 17 yrs I never cheated on him, even tho he did me.

You two have a history together, but if he is mature, and not childish, then he will keep his feelings to himself. Of course he cares about you or he wouldn't still be there. You are sleeping with another man, and yet he still comes around and remains your friend. That is what someone who truly loves another will do, no matter how much it hurts him.
Of course what I said is only true if he is a mature man, and not a selfish child.
The way to tell is by his actions.
Is he there to listen to you and be a true friend?
Or does he act strange and try to touch you?
If he acts properly, and is there for you, and not to try to get you back as his girlfriend, then he is there only because he loves you and wants you to be happy.

Well does your husband know about the relationship you had with your friend?
Its usually difficult to have a friendship with someone you've been intimate with, but if you're worried, you should definitely speak to your friend about it, and also consider being open with your husband about the situation.
The fact that your friend visits often could mean they're still interested, or it could just be a friendly gesture. You'll never know unless you ask... or unless they make a move ;) and I'm sure you don;t want to wait that long

I think he cares for you and want to see for himself if you are happy after getting back with your husband. Of course being a man, he wants to continue having the affair with you. It's normal.
You decide.. If you are getting back with your husband, tell this guy that you want him out. If you are uncertain, give yourself time and see how it goes. You should only continue the affair after you are certain you want out of the marriage.

Maybe you should be asking yourself if you want to have an affair with your best friend. If he is in fact your best friend, you shouldn't even have to ask this question.

well maybe he does there is really no way of telling if he likes you or not but he might still have feelings about you. why don't you try talking to him about it and i mean talking to your best friend.
