is it ok to have the same shirt/pants/etc in many/every color?

Basic, one-color T-shirts or pants, yes. HOWEVER,
for complex shirts (like a long sleeve with a Tiger on the front), only buy one. Because you'll wear the blue tiger shirt to a party once and then the green one to the next without realizing it but other people will realize it and it will make you look bad. And not looking bad is what style is all about.

Absolutely. I have a lot of shirt especially basic t-shirts in every color. If I find a pair of jeans I like, I buy them in the dark wash and the medium wash. I have black pants that i love so much, I have 3 pairs of them. If I find a great dress, I'll but it in all the colors I like it in. I also love flip flops and have about 30 pairs, most of them assorted colors of the exact same shoe from J. Crew.
If you find clothes that make you look good, and you feel good wearing them, why not stock up??

I dont see why not....ignore trying to follow a trend fully just use it as a guide. I have a tendency to buy things I like that look good on me in various colors so that I can use it more. When you find a look that complements you, you cant go wrong...its timeless.

regualr tees certain, picture ones no, i dont do it with shirts, yet I definitely have a pair of a similar plaid shorts, in simple terms in numerous shades, then I definitely have 2 of a similar skirts ones blue the different is black.

Its fine but not too many. 2 or 3 at most and dont wear them day after day.(in a row)

If it suits you and you really like the design then who cares what everybody says but if is advisable to venture and broaden your range of clothes ^^,

i dont see why not.....its not a problem, its your choice of preference and the individuality of a person to have the liking..
