i just had my 1st time having sex. im scared because i dont have my period yet....?

dont tell me i shouldn't be having sex, bacause i just did. i want to get a serious answer and not one that will freak me out any more than i already am. he used a condom, and i trust him with my life. im just scraed something might have happened, and maybe im pregnant. but i honestly dont know because this is new to me. please dont question my age, this was my choice and i dont care when you think i should be having sex. i just want to know how to tell if im pregnant, be cause im really scared. thanks

Your period is late
Those are the extra early warning signs... If you are late go and get a Home Pregnancy Test...

If you had sex within 72 hours, you could take the morning after pill (Emergency contraceptive pill which contains higher doses of the same hormones (estrogens, progestins, or both) found in regular oral contraceptive pills but these higher doses may prevent pregnancy from occurring)

Firstly, how late is your period and are they regular? If it is only a few days or even a week, you may be worrying yourself for no reason.Stress, worry or anxiety can have an affect on your period and may make it late.

If it is longer than a couple of weeks since you had a period, other symptoms to look out for are:

* You may feel nauseaous or queasiness. Some women vomit. ('Morning sickness' can happen any time of day)
* Your breasts swell and may be tender
* Your nipples and the area around the nipples get darker and broader.
* You may have to urinate more often.
* You may feel tired.
* You may become constipated and have heartburn
* You may have headaches
* You experience mood swings - feel angry, sad, or happy for no reason
If you experience any of these and your period still hasn't come, then I suggest a home pregnancy test. These are not 100% accurate and if some time has elapsed since your last period, the only way to find out for sure if you are pregnant or is a blood test.

maybe you're just paniking!! remember if u are stressed that causes for ur period to delay!! the sympoms of pregnancy are
*Sensible boobs
*Nausea
*Sleepiness
*Tiredness
*Excessive bathroom use
*Spotting or light brown like bleeding
*of course Late period
* Mood Changes
that's pretty much it.... but if u used a condom its only 87% effective when i had my first time my boyfriend made sure that the condom hadn't ripped by starting at the end and pressing it all the way to the tip (and it didn't break!) but if u don't wanna get pregnant just don't have sex at all every birth control is not 100% effectivee soo just don't have sex if u can't deal with the concecuenses... Now I want to say this.
It makes me mad,and Im sure other also,to hear you say Don't tell me I shouldnt be having sex.Because the truth is you shouldnt.If you are pregnant what do you know about raising a child?I know you didnt meantion your age,but if you are scared this bad right after intercourse,chances are you still live at home with mom and dad,meaning you cant handle being a mom.I will say you made the right choice in useing a condom,if used properly,you are more than likly not preg.If you are going to keep having sex,you need to be on oral birth control ASAP+ still using condoms.If you are pregnant,adoption is the very best choice you can make.I am adopted,my birthmother was 15 when she had me.She trusted the man she slept with,with her life also.He left as soon as he found out about me.He was a man,23,and still couldnt handle having a child.It does and can happen,as I see you already know.Im not trying to be your mom,but its really sad seeing smart young girl throwing their lives away.Children are meant to enrich your life.In your case im guessing you are but a child.But my thing is,dont demand us not to answer how we feel fit.You are the one who made this choice,and people telling you how they feel,is only a small repercaution of what CAN happen.I wish you luck.As of right now I belive you are in the safe.Just get a more reliable method of birth control to use along with condoms.Okay?If you want to see first hand what can happen,just look at all the girls on here asking what to do now that they are with child.Please,dont be one more.

I'm sorry so many people are bein trolls. But when you do ask a question like this, people tend to go off. But for all I know..you could be married.

If you are that nervous about if you are pregnant or not, ask him if the condom was lubricated with spermicide. If it was, you're safe. And even if not, then as long as he didn't spill anything outside of the condom, you're good. But, if you are still super paranoid, go and get a pregnancy test.

well you shouldnt be scared this sounds like what happend to me he used a condom and i didnt get my period until the month after i guess it was because my body was experiencing something new and it was going through some kind of change plus depending on your age your body goes through a change every 7 years and that could be it but if you feel you might be pregnat you can go to duean reade or what ever pharmacy is near you and get a test and take it if your not pregnat i would go to the gyn and get birthcontrol pills or something else to use along with a condom i hope everything works out for you oh and if you used a condom with spermicide in it chances are your not pregnat they die right away from it those are the ones you should use

hon, how long has it been since when you had sex and when you were supposed to have your period? has it just been a few days? or a couple weeks? if it has been a couple weeks, you may want to investigate further. if it has only been a couple days, wait a few more days and see what happens. if you are younger it may just have to do with the fact that your cycles still arent entirely regular yet. if you are older, and they are always at the same time, then i would worry a little. but still give it a few more days. i felt like an idiot this month because i thought mine was late, but then i realized it only felt late because febuary is a short month, and as a result i counted my cycle wrong. give. make sure you tell your guy your concern, if you trust him as much as you say you do, this shouldnt be an issue. tell him that you may be late, but you arent sure yet. wait a couple more days, then if it still hasnt come, go get checked out.

ok, first, are you late?
how long have you been having periods (most girls have irregular periods for the fist 12-18 months)?
are you regular and are they spaced every 28 days?
if so, you most fertile time span is at 14 days, so if you had intercourse (he used a condom, but did he use it correctly???) from days 11 to 15 and he ejaculated inside of your vagina, then you may be pregnant...
if you miss your period, wait 2 weeks from when you think it would have started...pee on an HPT first thing in the morning and if it is +, then you are expecting...

Alright darlin calm down, no one can tell you if your pregnant, but you can get a test, you do not have to be any certain age to get them.
If he used a condom and it didnt break than your good as gold, but if you are late you might wanna get a test just incase.
Stressing out can also make your period late, if you had sex yesterday then wait 2weels before testing.......good luck!!
