Since The Sims Life Stories is laptop friendly, do I need to install any graphics cards or updates?

The Sims Life Stories looks good. I've heard that laptops don't need system requirements for it. Is it true? Also, can I expect to get all the stuff from the Sims 2 expansion packs (drums, guitar, bass, etc.)?

Yes it will be compatible to all laptops and will have the same instruments plus more features.
