ok um if u do it urself it will hurt like hell. u have to burn ur needle in fire to sterilised it and put tons of ice on ur ear. my advice is dont try it urself get a friends but EVEN BETTER go to a chemist they'll do it for u and it's cheap and safe and they just take a gun and poke an earing through ur lobe and its the best way to do it. also if ur planning on doing it urself get disinfectant and a spray for ur ears form the pharmacy/ chemist. good luck!

Some department stores and Sally's beauty supply have self piercers that you wear like regular pierced earrings. Or you can get the snap in type and have someone snap them in. The snap ins are best and its over in just seconds.

Really bad idea, have somebody who has some experience do it, in some cases if you buy some stuff the salon will not even charge you for the piercing itself.

umm its free at claires and alot of other places, all you have to pay for is the earrings, its safer and cleaner because they open the needle right in front of you from a brand new box, plus theyvebeen trained and they wont get them uneven

You can, It wouldn't be wise, but it's possible. You better have some soapy water (or peroxide) ready, and make sure the needle you're using is clean.

I don't recommend doing it yourself. First, it will hurt worse doing it yourself, second, you might get a very very bad infection, third, you might not get the holes straight and that would look terrible.
