It's not an event or anything special just a party w/drinking and music at some guys house.. but I just got home from work and I'm really not in the mood. I'm really tired. Should I still go since I promised her a week ago. She wanted to tell me a week an advance about it so I won't cancel, so that's my dilemma.

Drink some coffee and go.......if you still feel like crap after a while, tell her you are ready to go home. Been in your shoes and I know it's a tough call but I would say you either buck up and go or produce some vomit so she will think you're sick. Good-luck and you seem to be a nice friend.

If it were me, and I had promised, then I would take a shower, get dressed, and go. You might have a good time once you get there, and you would be keeping your promise to your friend.

well... u really shouldn't break a promise. have some redbull, get some party tunes going while ur getting ready. that should help.
