I have been trying to remember the name of this movie that I saw back in elementry school around 1988. All I remember is that this girl was kidnapped by maybe a leprechaun, and there was a carrige of some sort pulled by white horses. It is possible that it was a tv movie as the teacher brought it to class.

I think it might be 'O'Darby and the Little People'.
I seem to remember he had to rescue her from a banshee on top of a mountain. The banshee's moan used to scare the bejeezus out of me.

The Face On The Milk Carton. Kellie Martin plays a teenager who discovers that she might have been kidnapped at a young age. Better yet, read the book by Caroline B Cooney. The Panic Room. Kristen Stewart's character is about twelve/thirteen.

after reading the end, but Leprechan with jennifer aniston was my first thought. but I don't think you saw that crap in school.
