Iam an international student. Ive been living in Teaneck NJ for two months now. And it is nice. I like it. I really wonder something: When i asked the NY poeple if they are from NJ, they always reply me 'Oh god no!'... What is wrong with NJ?

Just like if you refer to anywhere else in NY State they call it Upstate even if it is five minutes north of them. I am personally from central new york and they will say ohhh way upstate when it is the center.
