I was able to play all games on my new PS2 for about a month, but then the new games with the clear bottom won't play. All my games with the blue bottom play, but all the other ones don't and it's only a month old. What should I do?

it's only the laser try playing the games by keeping your ps2 on stand or just use lens cleaner or u can have install a hdd to your ps2 using hd loader this make your games fast and easy to play you don't have to change your cd or dvd as you would be playing through hdd you can also run hd loader from your mc or hdd itself using infinty manager then your lens would have know work to do. you can copy any pirated game also using your pc to ps2 and paly it.you just have to connect your hdd to pc ,copy games and connect hdd to ps2 using network card and enjoy playing........

ther is simply nuthing to do but it isnt ur games it is the laser it self get a new one n instal it or get a new ps2 thos are really ur only options and if someone says it's the games ther on crak but that is the first case i heared of it being the reg games n not the blue but anouther thing it could be is the ribben conecting ur laser to the system could be lose check that if thats the case just push n the riben wire a lil thats how i fixed my slim n fat ps2 is easyer to do i balive for myself

Return it to the store, tell them the problem, or call sony up and talk to the tech support guys.

This happened to me.
I took it back to the store where I bought it and they swapped mine for a new one.
