I personally find it to be a 'strong' trait for a man to have.

And...what does the phrase " confidently vunerable " mean to you?

Wondering your thoughts.

Appreciating your answers...thanks. I agree...that a man who is a 'wimp' is weak. Yet, a man who is confident enough to let his vunerabilities 'show' to those who are closer to his heart in his life is a strength. Tania...you expressed it especially well.

" The Infa " . . . Interesting answer. To me a can who's confident says to me that he knows and values himself. That trait may or may not be turned into him being genuine or being full of himself. A woman can definately tell the difference. The aspect I'm speaking of (that I admire) is a man who is genuine and confident within himself, values himself and others.

Confidently vulnerable... to me, means he is confident in showing his vulnerability or weakness. That means HONESTY.

So many men hide their weaknesses, lest the machismo they are trying to project might be diminished. That's being plastic.

Being macho is accepting your limitation in a discreet way.

Thank you.

What the hell does "confidently vunerable" even mean?

And you wonder why men say you women speak in doubletalk???

I guess you're trying to say that you want a guy who's an asshole (because that's what women mean when they say "confident") but he's not afraid to talk about his feelings with you.

That's kind of a contradiction in terms, though - I doubt you'd find too many men like that!!!

O my god i think the comparable way regrettably I quite have in no way discovered a woman that feels that way i need to be my age i'm 19 yet few have valuable perspectives of themselves and its kinda unhappy the way that modern-day society treats women with this concept it quite is its okay to be a womanizing canines. the few woman I quite have met in no way realy believed they have been something different than some mans arm candy and that i hate the way it extremely is around right here. Hell some situations mutually as i replaced into in intense college i replaced into sicked by the waqy the international is now. My mom raised me on olden thoughts of sturdy men and girls of the Vikings and king Arthur and how the relationship could circulate and that i help your opinion 2 hundred% i choose to detect extra people like that yet unluckily I have not have been given any time im leaving for the protection stress in 2 months and that i've got no time perhaps after a mutually as unwell attempt yet im discoraged by what I quite have found accessible and it lightens my heart to nicely known that others with belifes like myself are accessible.

To me confidence is a strength.
Confidently vulnerable means willing to be sensitive and vulnerable without fear of being labeled weak or unmanly
I don't think enough men have this trait and it is definetly something I admire in a man.

To me, it means he's not afraid to be voulnerable in front of not just his lover, but others as well. Not afraid to say that he had a wonderful night cuddling in front of a fire... etc.

It CAN be a strong trait, but at the same time, confidently voulnerabel can translate into him being a pu$$y. The strength in that trait is a very thin line between a$$ hole and pu$$y. Atleast I think so

first of all..ALL men are insecure and therefore vulnerable and so to a woman and to the man this can be both strength and weakness..the weakness is because a mans insecurity is the exact thing that causes problems for him in his personal life and in his relationships most of the time!..and the only time this can become a strength to either him or her is when he is willing to open up and share his true emotions with his girl....

I am not sure you can use "confidently vurnerable" together as they conflict in terms of their meaning.

I would think that being quietly confident is what you were aiming for?

I would say its a strength for a guy to be in touch with his emotions (being a guy myself) and its definitely a strength when you can empathise with people and show your emotions without collapsing into an emotional heap from overdoing it.

To me, "confidently vulnerable" would include a softness for children or the elderly, or maybe getting teary-eyed in a movie. Real "strong" men are extremely "vulnerable" when it comes to those they love, especially their own children.

It's one thing to be open and another to be vulnerable. I find it to be a turn-on to some extent, but if a guy's too vulnerable, it's a turn-off. I like shy guys, but only if they're receptive to me... it's too much work otherwise.

It's good to know your strengths and weaknesses and to know what you can and cannot do to change that.

I find it to be a weakness. It is one thing to be able to communicate with another person and it is another thing to be able to deal with it. A strong man can communicate and deal with the problem. Vulnerable? It sounds fake to "be it" on purpose.
